Actor Profile; Alice Evans

NAME: Alice Jane Evans

BIRTHDATE: 2 August 1971, Bristol, England, UK

ABDUCTION CLUB CHARACTER: Catharine Kennedy

Alice's first big break came when she starred in Disney's 102 Dalmations (2000). Tragically Alice's mother Janet, died after suffering a heart attack whilst walking her dog less that 24 hours before Alice's final screen test for the role. Alice was never able to tell her mother she won the role. During this particularly hard time, Alice leaned on fellow co-star Ioan Gruffudd, who played her romantic interest in the film and ironically they shortly  became a couple and were engaged in 2005.

102 Dalmations is the first movie I had ever seen Alice in, and the only film apart from The Abduction Club I have seen her in. I thought she was particularly gorgeous in the film and her chemistry with Ioan was really cute.

Ioan and Alice were married in 2007 and in 2009 Alice gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Ella Betsi Janet Gruffudd (what a cute name).

Some of the films and TV Series Alice has starred in, and is particularly known for are; The Christmas Card (2006), Lost (TV Series 2009) and Brothers & Sisters (TV Series 2010-2011) which also stars her Abduction Club co-star Matthew Rhys (who is also her husbands best friend).

Oh, that's right! Alice Evans is married to Ioan Gruffudd! Viewing 102 Dalmatians back in 2004 was the first time I'd seen Ioan in anything as well. They were really sweet together in that film! I loved The Christmas Card when I watched it for the first time last year, Alice was delightful in that! And of course she's fabulous in Abduction Club. I didn't know they had a daughter, what a sweet name she has too! This was a very interesting post!
