In the past week or so I have found myself thinking a lot upon the topic of The Abduction Club story I have been planning to write and post up on this blog. Unfortunatley whilst researching and after more thought I have decided to scrap the idea due to several factors. The main issue being that in writing it there are so many things that I cannot include in the written version and in narrating these things I feel like I would be guessing about the characters. This would therefore lead this piece into the territory of fanfiction and I really don't like the idea of that (you know expanding on the lives and thoughts of characters which were created by somebody else). However this being said there will be a story!You see I have been looking a lot into the history of Ireland and The Abduction Club and after jotting down a few thoughts a story began to form in my mind. To give you a brief description it is set before The Abduction Club was started, with a whole new set of characters and events. It details the lives of the people involved in the Abduction that forever changed Ireland and began the phenomena of abducting heiress (which ultimately lead to the formation of The Abduction Club).
I apologise if you are disappointed, but I really hope that anyone who reads this blog/post will understand my reasons for changing my mind. I have already begun a considerable amount of research and writing on the new pre-Abduction Club book and I am really excited. I look forward to introducing you to my characters and my story :)
