The Costume Designer: Consolata Boyle
Consolata Boyle is the costume designer of The Abduction Club. She was born in Dublin, Ireland and is considered an Irish costume designer. Before being trained in set and costume design at The Theatre Abbey, Dublin she studied archaeology and history at University. She also completed a post-graduate diploma in textiles at West Surrey College of Art and Design.
Consolata has designed costumes for 45 films, shorts and TV series'. She is well known for her work in films such as The Queen (2006), Cheri (2009) along with the upcoming film The Iron Lady (2011).
I loved the costumes in The Abduction Club especially Anne and Catharine's dresses, they were beautiful. I would love to see Consolata work on another period drama film like The AC.
